Sustainable New Agri-Food Products (SNAP)
SNAP funding will provide up to $5,000 (at 75% cost-share) to eligible applicants to fund the purchase of new equipment to create new or value added food products.
This fund is administered by the Rural-Agricultural Innovation Network, Northeast Community Network, Eat Local Sudbury and Clover Valley Farmer's Market. Applications will be accepted until September 1, 2014
Growing Forward 2
GF2 funding focuses on innovation, competitiveness and market development to ensure Canadian producers and processors have the tools and resources needed to capitalize on market opportunities. Funding will support (1) capacity building - eg. education, skills development, planning (2) project implementation. GF2 will cover 75% of eligible costs towards capacity building projects and 50% of eligible costs for project implementation (75% if project is deemed innovative)
